SOF Launches Afterschool Program!

The SOF Afterschool Program will begin on Monday, October 15th.  Information on the offerings and how to register was sent home with students on Wednesday, October 10th.  A copy of the brochure and registration form are also available here.  

Students can register for courses until Friday, October 19th.  The cost for each course is $100, $200 or $300.  The session will run from October 15, 2012 through February 14, 2013.

Thanks to all of you for supporting the SOF Afterschool Program!!

Thanks to the generous support of SOF families and corporate sponsors, we have raised over $11,000 to jump start SOF's Afterschool Program.  While the total cost of the program will be much more than this (current estimates are about $100,000 for the entire year), this money is helping us cover start up costs and allowing us to buy some much needed equipment.  Think guitars for the guitar class, drums for the drumming class...  you get the idea.

Several members of the SOF family have generously supported SOF’s afterschool program through donations of goods and services. 

v  David Hoffman, drummer in SOF’s own rock band, Sound of the Future, donated a drum kit. 

v  Ella Patrick’s family donated a digital keyboard and stand.
