On Friday 10/10, the 10th graders took a trip to the Whitney Museum to look at a retrospective of Jeff Koons’ art work to enhance what they have been learning in class. In history, students have been learning about the Haitian Revolution which culminated in argument essay writing. Math students in Algebra 2 created their own piecewise functions word problem projects and Pre-Calculus students are currently analyzing real-world data of their choosing with regression models. Students in chemistry started the year making lab safety PSA posters and are now in the midst of a unit on alchemy.
