10th Grade PreCalculus Student used exponential functions to describe decay of the numbers of social media subscribers to teen sensation, Bethanny Mota. Using Excel, she tracked decay of subscribers over the course of a number of months and discovered that Bethanny, who had started with 40 million subscribers, could quickly lose all subscribers in 7 months.
