SoF ADHD Club

The SoF ADHD Club was founded by Dylan Foler with one goal in mind: To fight the stigma of mental health!  Dylan has ADHD and wanted to do something to raise awareness, therefore, giving him the idea to start the club.  The ADHD club focuses and offers activities and projects related to all types of mental health. For example,  the ADHD club recently gave holiday cards to kids with autism at the Learning Spring School. Our next project focuses on making posters to raise awareness about mental health.  The club meets every Wednesday during high school lunch in room 201 and is open to all high schoolers.

SoF Robotics

Our SOF Robotics team has participated in the first Robotics qualifier of the FTC tournament that took place at John Dewey High-School on December 9.  Out of 4 rounds, our team lost the first two and won the last two.
Part of the qualifier was to showcase the robot and the engineering notebook and our students explained the robot building journey to a panel of judges. From the left, Carson Koppel (12th grade), Farhath Anzum (11th grade), Milan Jevremov (11th grade), Deana Price, Ben Edlitz (9th grade), Evan Kharlamb (9th grade), and Dylan Foler (9th grade) answered the judges’s questions about their role in the team.
Our next event will be on January 27 at Horace Mann HS in Bronx. Go SOF Robotics!
