SoF PA is thrilled to present SCREENAGERS: Growing Up in the Digital Age, a documentary about the biggest parenting challenge of our time.
SCREENAGERS addresses the most pervasive parenting topic of modern time head on—depicting teens’ struggles over social media, video games and internet addiction. It empowers kids to best navigate the digital world and provides practical resources to help them do it.
The documentary was made by Delaney Ruston – a doctor, filmmaker and mother of two, initially around her own decision to buy her daughter a smart phone. It aims to open the conversation to help kids and parents/caregivers navigate screen time and understand the importance of both sides of the debate.
This screening is for SoF parents and caregivers and will be followed by a short Q&A. SoF students will be shown a shorter version during Circles the following week.
We have limited seating. This event is for SoF Families only.
If you already signed up a friend that is not a parent at our school, please cancel the reservation so that there is space for our families. IF there are seats remaining at the time of the screening, they will be available for those outside of our school community for $10 at the door.
