Please help us to keep our students cell phones safe and limit their phone usage during class!
Our goal is to install these safe and effective cell phone cases in all classrooms (both middle and high school). So far, these cases have proven to be positive solution in a few of our classrooms and now we want to spread it out to our whole school.
But, it’s not free.
We are looking to raise $4,250 to do this.
Please consider making a donation below.
Thank you for your continued support of our school!
SoF PA is thrilled to present SCREENAGERS: Growing Up in the Digital Age, a documentary about the biggest parenting challenge of our time.
SCREENAGERS addresses the most pervasive parenting topic of modern time head on—depicting teens’ struggles over social media, video games and internet addiction. It empowers kids to best navigate the digital world and provides practical resources to help them do it.
The documentary was made by Delaney Ruston – a doctor, filmmaker and mother of two, initially around her own decision to buy her daughter a smart phone. It aims to open the conversation to help kids and parents/caregivers navigate screen time and understand the importance of both sides of the debate.
This screening is for SoF parents and caregivers and will be followed by a short Q&A. SoF students will be shown a shorter version during Circles the following week.
We have limited seating. This event is for SoF Families only.
If you already signed up a friend that is not a parent at our school, please cancel the reservation so that there is space for our families. IF there are seats remaining at the time of the screening, they will be available for those outside of our school community for $10 at the door.
to RSVP and reserve your seat.
This is a free event, offered by the PA and worth a watch!
Our students have been hard at work for various charities this winter, supporting the following:
- City Harvest
- Ronald McDonald House
- The Door
- Little Lamb
We’re so proud of their efforts!
Kenny Barrett did something that has everyone worried. He wishes he could just make it through the rest of his senior year unnoticed, but that’s going to be hard since he has to publicly apologize to his entire high school. At home, his mother is struggling with a rocky start to her second marriage and a surprise visit from her estranged sister. A new play about a family limping out the door in the morning and coming home no matter what.
Performed by SoF HS Students, and Directed by Lisa Sobin
Friday, December 13th and Saturday, December 14th, 7pm at SoF
Tickets available at door only.
Dear SOF HS Parents,
In today’s competitive college admissions process just getting good grades is not enough . Colleges want to review an applicant that has more going on in their life and has experiences that perhaps could contribute to that college’s community. School of the Future understands this and it is the reason why we have decided to hold an Enrichment Fair on December 12, 2019, from 4:30pm – 6:30pm in the school’s gym. Come with your child and view over 20 programs that your child maybe interested in joining after school or during next summer.
We look forward to seeing you there!
