In the beginning of June, the ninth grade class embarked on a three day adventure to Washington DC. On the first day the ninth grade explored a number of the Smithsonian Museums including the Air and Space Museum, the Botanical Gardens, and the Holocaust Museum and in the evening went to the Nationals baseball game.
The next day, we visited the Supreme Court, the National Zoo, ate lunch at Union Station, had a party at Dave & Busters, and finished off the day with an Illumination Tour of DC stopping by the White House and both the Vietnam and Lincoln Memorials.
On the final day, students got to hang out in the Sculpture Garden, received a tour of the Capitol, and briefly explored Baltimore on our way home. Although it was an action packed trip, everyone had a lot of fun exploring a new city.
