SOF Robotics Club members, along with several Senior Institute Students, have participated in the Computer Science Fair at Armory Track on April 11.
Our team members showcased our robot on a competition field and answered hundreds of questions from participants. Citywide High School students and fair visitors of all ages wanted to know about our design process, how to start a HS robotics team, how to build a competitive robot and many more.
The following SOF students participated at the fair: Van James Huynh, Jevremov, Milan, Mohamed Bazali, Farhath Anzum, Carson Koppel, Ronan Schneider, Jatsho Wangchuk, and SI students Valeri Capone, Cecelia McAndrews, Haze Booth, and Seim Wolderufael
The NYC Computer Science Fair is New York City’s largest annual college and career inspiration event for public high school students studying computer science. In its fourth year, the 2017 CS Fair hosted over 2,000 students from 60 schools across all five boroughs as well as over 100 companies, colleges and extra-curricular programs.
