What is your school day like?
My school day is not predictable because even though my schedule is the same and I know what subject comes next, things never happen the same way; sometimes things are too easy and I’m like: “Wow! Am I being pranked or did something happen to my teachers?” So my school day is never the same at all.
What do you like about SOF?
What I like about SOF is practically everything, but what I like the most about it is its teachers and the students because you have friends in an instant, and your teachers will help you with everything that you might need because they are helpful and are there when you need them.
What activities are you involved with SOF or outside of SOF?
Well, it has been my dream to play the drums and this school gave me the chance to do the thing that I love to do: play the drums in the after-school program, so those activities that class taught me made me do more drum playing in different places. I also love to act, and I loved drama class. Now I am starting to play the drums in my Church Worship Ministry. I am also the drama director for the Kids Ministry in Church.
What do friends and others ask you about SOF and what do you tell them?
All my friends from elementary school ask me a lot if I like the school and for the first time in my life I happily answer “YES!” I am so happy that even my brother, who is attending another middle school, will be applying next year for SOF high school! That made me think that this school is one of the best things that happened to me and I know I will enjoy it to its max.
What do you want to do when you graduate?
Well, my journey has just began. I am going to seventh grade, but when I do graduate from SOF I want to become a professional drummer because ever since I was a child I would always watch the Naked Brothers Band, and whenever they played music I would just stare at Alex the drummer and then just say “Wow, I want to play the drums!” I also love to act, so who knows. I may become a famous actor that graduated from SOF! I really want to pursue a career that involves art. That is what I think for now.
